Friday marks the end of my dry month. What a stupid idea that was. I've stuck to it though and I can finally have a drink on Saturday. To mark this occasion, and in keeping with my stupidly busy work schedule at the moment, I'm holding a telecommuters tweetup at The Twisted Hop, Christchurch, New Zealand.
It was a good weekend.
Celebrated Colin Writes(@colinismyname) 25th solar circumnavigation with Laser Strike and drinks out. I have to say, hitting the bars dry isn't as comfortable. Taking an alcohol free month is a task I doubt I'll repeat. Laser Strike was fun though. It's been a long time since I played that game and it's still just as much fun now as it was when I was a kid. :) We may even start a regular game.
My name is Gold. I'm a post-goth, skeptic, web developer from Christchurch, New Zealand. I want to travel. I'd been planning this for a while when a few things forced my hand so I've decided to fast track the process and start by becoming intentionally homeless.
I run the New Zealand Skeptics in the Pub which is where I met [REDACTED]. She is the inspiration for my wander lust and has become my travel muse. :)
I'm a self employed web developer who works on LAMP stacks and focuses of Drupal development. I have been freelancing for the last couple of years.
